Controlled-test notice

Privacy

Last updated: 2026-06-19. This document covers how ScoutFlow handles your data during controlled testing. It is not final legal advice and may change before public launch.

Who operates ScoutFlow

ScoutFlow is currently operated as a controlled-test project under the name ScoutFlow. For privacy questions or data requests, contact <INSERT SCOUTFLOW CONTACT EMAIL>.

What you submit

When you use ScoutFlow you submit a startup idea in plain language, plus optional context (target user, problem, stage, hackathon duration). You may also approve or edit the generated clarity brief and provide feedback on action plans.

What ScoutFlow generates

ScoutFlow generates a structured clarity brief and a focused validation action plan from your idea. These outputs are stored in your account so you can return to them later.

How AI is used

ScoutFlow uses third-party large language models to generate clarity briefs and action plans. Your idea text and the prompts ScoutFlow builds from it are sent to an AI inference provider to produce that output. ScoutFlow currently routes these requests through the Lovable AI Gateway, which forwards them to underlying model providers (currently Google, via the Gemini model family). The specific model or provider may change over time as ScoutFlow tunes quality and cost.

Your idea content may be temporarily retained by the underlying AI provider for safety and abuse monitoring purposes, typically for a short period, depending on the provider's current policy. This is separate from ScoutFlow's own storage. ScoutFlow does not use your idea content to train or fine-tune AI models without separate notice and agreement.

What ScoutFlow stores

  • Your account identity and sign-in information.
  • The ideas, briefs, and action plans you create.
  • Aggregate usage events — for example, that a brief was generated or an action plan was viewed. These analytics events do not contain raw idea text, generated content, feedback free text, your email, or your name.
  • Feedback you submit on an action plan is stored separately and is never combined with the analytics events stream.

Sharing and investors

Your ideas, briefs, and action plans are private by default. ScoutFlow does not currently share ideas with investors or provide an investor discovery feature. If this changes later, ScoutFlow will ask for separate explicit agreement before any idea is shared.

Admin quality review

A limited number of ScoutFlow team members may review user content for internal product quality assurance — for example, to investigate a failed generation or an unhelpful answer.

When ScoutFlow team members review user content for internal product quality assurance, access may be logged, including who accessed the content, when, and technical security information such as IP address. These access logs are retained for up to 12 months.

Retention

During controlled testing, ScoutFlow retains account data, ideas, briefs, action plans, and feedback until deletion is requested, or for up to 12 months after last activity, whichever comes first. Aggregate analytics events are retained for up to 12 months. Admin access logs are retained for up to 12 months. Deletion/export requests are handled manually during controlled testing.

Subprocessors

ScoutFlow currently uses Supabase for database and authentication, Lovable for application hosting and AI Gateway, and Google Gemini as the active AI model provider through Lovable AI Gateway. A current subprocessor list is available on request at <INSERT SCOUTFLOW CONTACT EMAIL>.

Deletion and export

You can request deletion of your account and content, or an export of the data you have submitted. Requests are handled manually during controlled testing.
